In preparation for your New Curlie Session, HAIR SHOULD BE:
* 100% COMPLETELY DRY (there will be an upcharge if I have to diffuse for any length of time)
​
* styled to show your curls at their most defined using your favorite products
* free of oils—please avoid oils, but creams & gels are perfectly fine
Not sure where to start? Here’s a simple guide:

wash your hair first, then detangle gently with your fingers or a comb while the conditioner is still in
​

try to leave the conditioner in after detangling
​

if you use styling products, apply them now—while your curls are soaking wet—but avoid anything heavy or oily
* gently lean all your hair over your left shoulder & scrunch up with your hands repeatedly. Then, repeat on the right side
​
* next, return to the left side & scrunch again using a microfiber towel or an old cotton t-shirt. Repeat on the right side
​
* allow your curls to air dry completely or use a diffuser
​
* do not pull your hair up at all before your appointment
​
* do not wear clips, bobby pins, hats, or sunglasses, as these can stretch out your curls
Unattended children will be fed chocolate cake and given a cuddly kitten!
​For the safety of kiddos not receiving services, due to chemicals, sharp tools, & limited space, my salon is not a place for extra guests. I aim to keep my suite quiet & relaxing just for you, so please make other arrangements for little ones & significant others. This way, I can give my full attention to your curls & your experience!

I never want you to feel rushed or have your experience compromised, so please plan ahead for traffic, construction, or babysitter delays to help us start your session right on time.

I know how easy it is to forget appointments booked weeks ago! So here’s how I help keep us on track:

you’ll get an automatic reminder 72 hours before your appointment—no need to reply to that one
​
I’ll personally text you with all the important details 2 days before we meet
​
upon receipt of my text, please send me a quick reply to confirm your appointment
Please be sure to read all my instructions carefully & respond promptly when you receive my text
if you don’t respond, your appointment will be canceled, & a re-booking fee will be required before you can schedule a new appointment.

upon canceling, a re-booking fee will need to be paid in full before another appointment can be scheduled if:​
​
* less than 24-hour notice
-$75 re-booking fee
* same day notice
-$100 re-booking fee
