


I do run a tight ship and the allotted time to complete your service is based on me starting your service(s) on time. On the day of your appointment:

Arrive a few minutes early to ensure you are in the right place. This way, you won't feel rushed.

Text me & let me know you are here, but please wait in the lobby until I have responded.

In preparation for your New Guest Session:
-
Hair 100% COMPLETELY DRY (there will be an upcharge if I have to diffuse for any length of time)

Styled to have the most definition & curl
-
NO OILS, products are fine but nothing heavy or too crunchy. When in doubt, leave it out!
Not quite sure what to do?

wash your hair first & then with conditioner in, detangle with your fingers or a comb
-
try to leave the conditioner in after you detangled
-
if you use styling products, apply them now (nothing heavy or oily)

while your curls are soaking wet, gently lean all your hair over the left shoulder & scrunch up with your hands repeatedly. Repeat on the right side
-
return to the left side this time scrunch up with a Microfiber towel or old cotton t-shirt. Repeat on the right side
-
allow curls to air dry fully or diffuse
-
do NOT pull your hair up in any way for any length of time
-
do NOT use clips, bobby pins, wear a hat or sunglasses when you come in for your appointment as this stretches your curls out
Unattended children will be fed chocolate cake and given a cuddly kitten!

The salon is not a safe place for kiddos not receiving services, as there are chemicals, sharp objects, etc around. My suite has limited space and I like to keep it quiet and relaxing for you, so please make other arrangements for your little ones and significant others so that I can focus my attention on you and your curly hair needs!
Running Late
If you will be late please text me immediately with your new eta. Understand, I may need to:

Reschedule some or all of your services & a late or re-booking fee may be applied to your final total. I would never want to compromise your experience by feeling rushed, so please plan for traffic delays, construction delays, a& babysitter running late delays so we can begin your session at the scheduled time

Cancellation and Last Minute
I know how easy it is to forget an appointment that may have been booked weeks ago which is why:

You will automatically receive a system-generated reminder of your appointment 72 hours in advance. Please don't respond to this notification

I will personally text you a reminder with instructions 48 hours in advance.

A written confirmation response via text is REQUIRED a minimum of 24 hours before your appointment time for new and existing guests

You need to read all my instructions and respond promptly when you receive my text! Failure to respond will result in appointment cancellation and a re-booking fee will be due before a new appointment can be scheduled.
